The regional operational programme of the NUTS 2 Southeast is a new opportunity to develop the region. It brings support for investment projects particularly to the Southeast Cohesion Region. The Office of the Regional Council of the Southeast Cohesion Region as a part of the implementation structure of the Southeast Regional Council will also play a major role throughout the 2007-2013 programming period. We are aware of this responsible task.

Since July 2006, the Southeast Regional Council has been striving to prepare understandable access to information, clear and not too complicated conditions for the submission and implementation of projects, and in particular an active and helpful approach of the employees of the Regional Council. This is not an easy task. However, after ten months of preparation, we can say that the new system of ROP management will be unique from the applicant's point of view, mainly because all services related to the Regional Operational Programme will be provided by the same institution. A project will be guided and overseen by the same people from the preparation to implementation and finalisation. The applicant will not have to rely on a number of institutions that do not share the same information basis. The Regional Council of the Southeast will provide full service and assistance. This system is focused on the needs of the cohesion region and individual applicants and is based on experience from the previous programming period. It strives to create the most favourable conditions possible for the region's development and the most efficient use of the structural funds and Czech public and private resources.

We will keep you regularly informed of all changes in the ROP SE in the shortest possible amount of time, mainly through our website. The Office of the Regional Council of the Southeast Cohesion Region will answer any further questions.
