How is the ROP South-East financed?

The ROP SE is financed from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). A total of EUR 4.6 billion (approximately CZK 131.4 billion) from EU funds is allocated to the regional operational programmes within the Convergence objective, out of which EUR 704.45 million (CZK 20 billion) is allocated to the Regional Operational Programme NUTS2 Southeast. If there is a sufficient number of quality projects, the two regions will get CZK 2.8 billion from the European Union each year of the new 2007-2013 programming period. This is approximately seven times more than the financial resources of the Joint Regional Operational Programme (JROP) in the previous shortened 2004-2006 programming period.

The finances of the programme will be increased by an additional EUR 124.31 million from Czech public resources.

Regions, municipalities, unions of municipalities, organisations established by regions and municipalities, railway operators, non-governmental non-profit organisations, small and medium enterprises and others.
