What kinds of projects are eligible for support?
- The construction, improvement and improved technical parameters of 2nd and 3rd class roads (including bridges, however road patching, local repairs and routine maintenance do not count) that constitute the main regional transport network of the Southeast Cohesion Region that connects the region to higher category transport networks or to TEN-T, or that interconnects urban and regional centres; their modernisation consists in creating infrastructure that is conducive to the development of non-commercial public telematic and data services;
- The improvement and construction of bridges, noise barriers, by-passes or their parts, a reduction of transit traffic, construction of roundabouts, relaying of roads and construction other transport-related infrastructure on 2nd and 3rd class roads (e.g. passes and subways, but not pavements);
- The construction and improvement of necessary infrastructure of the public international non-military airport (e.g. terminals, runways, taxiways, traffic control towers, safety equipment, connection to other means of transport).
