What kinds of projects are eligible for support?
The creation of marketing strategies and strategies for prospective and competitive forms of tourism of regional significance;
- The support and promotion of specific tourist products;
- The creation of local and regional information systems for tourists about attractive sites;
- The development of tourist information system and places with publicly available internet access for tourists and visitors of the region (websites, reservation systems, information stands etc.);
- Marketing and information campaigns focusing on the promotion of the region as a unique tourist destination (publishing new, multi-lingual printed and electronic promotional material and items, participation at tourism fairs and workshops etc.).
Which subjects can be funded?
Municipalities and unions of municipalities, regions, non-governmental non-profit organisations, organisations established by regions and municipalities, corporations co-owned by self-government bodies, small and medium-sized enterprises.
Amount of available funds
EUR 20 million, which amounts to roughly CZK 568 million
Sample case
A union of municipalities in a micro-region with a site of historic interest or another place of tourist interest in their administrative area would like to attract tourists. The primary objective of the municipalities is to produce an information brochure about the micro-region that will also be published on their websites.
