Ve Znojmě byla zrekonstruována zničená kulturní památka, dům č. 13 ve Veselé ulici, který pochází ze 14. století. Byl zde postaven hotel LA HO FER.
Kromě celé řady architektonických, kulturních a historických zajímavostí nabízí hotel ubytování, lákavou gastronomii, vinotéku a informační centrum znojemských vinařství. Rekonstrukce původní budovy byla zahájena v roce 2008 a ukončena letos v září. Investiční náklady ve výši 30 mil. Kč byly částečně hrazeny z Regionálního operačního programu NUTS 2 Jihovýchod. Třípodlažní objekt hotelu LAHOFER nabízí 15 jedno-, dvou-, tří- a čtyřlůžkových pokojů. Restaurace hotelu LAHOFER se zaměřuje na pokrmy moderní gastronomie s maximálním využitím lokálních surovin. Nezbytnou součástí nabídky jsou vína Vinařství LAHOFER. V prostoru dnešní recepce hotelu je původní srubová stěna ze 14. století a restaurované malby z 18. století. Součástí budovy jsou také sklepy, které historicky navazovaly na znojemské podzemí. V průběhu rekonstrukce budovy byla navíc na dvoře nalezena původní studna ze 14. století.
LAHOFER Hotel livened up the centre of Znojmo
A dilapidated cultural monument, building No. 13 in Veselá Street in Znojmo and dating back to the 14th century, was reconstructed. It was transformed into the LAHOFER Hotel. Apart from a whole range of architectural, cultural and historical matters of interest, the hotel offers accommodation, enticing gastronomy, vinoteque and an information centre of viticulture in the Znojmo region. The reconstruction of the original building was commenced in 2008 and completed this September. Investment costs in the amount of CZK 30 million were partially paid from the Regional Operational Programme NUTS 2 South-east. The three-storey building of the LAHOFER Hotel offers a mix of 15 single, double, triple and quadruple rooms. The restaurant of the LAHOFER Hotel focuses on dishes from modern gastronomy with a maximum use of local food. Wines from the LAHOFER viticulture are an inevitable part of their offer. In the area of the present day hotel reception there is a log wall from the 14th century and restored paintings from the 18th century. The building also has cellars which are historically connected to the underground of Znojmo. Moreover, when reconstructing the building, an original well from the 14th century was discovered.
